This bird needs no introduction. Ever since your childhood, you have grown up with this bird. May be because of this too much of encounter with this bird, we do not have much respect for it. Probably this is the reason we don't realize that this bird is very rapidly vanishing. Research shows that this bird has paid price of its closeness with humans.
